Day at the Races

 

My last piece of 2023, inspired by my childhood history of playing Burnout, Need for Speed, Hot Wheels, and most recently Forza Horizon. It's been a while since I finished a new landscape, but finishing any work of art feels like a victory lap.

Glide

 

Here's hoping that this landscape gives you a nice relaxing taste of summer, barbecue, and what it may feel like to glide in a hot air balloon.

Christmas Forest

 

We only get a glimpse of some red leaves during the Autumn, but how about a whole FOREST of fire-engine/burgundy leaves with some green grass? I thought the scheme would make for a cozy Christmas setting.

Scenic Route

 

 

Sometimes I just feel like I need a breath of fresh air. But I wanted to express that in a picture. So how about some dandelions and wind turbines backed by a waterfall?

Pulse Temple

 

This is Pulse Temple. Where the indigenous people emphasize the strength of the heartbeat, and the power of music. Here, we are all humans, no matter what country or race, or social class, or background or family, but we're all connected by a pulse.

I've painted this eleven years ago and still it is one of my favorites of all time. Who wouldn't want a sprawling skyscraper complex illuminated in a rich neon royal blue in their city? Who wouldn't want a one-stop-shop information center that could answer any and all questions that you have ever conceived?
